Eco-Congregation Scotland achieves Charity Status

We are pleased to announce that Eco-Congregation Scotland has recently become a charity. This was announced on Saturday March 20th during the Eco-Congregation Scotland Annual Gathering 2010 which took place in Stirling Baptist Church. For more information, please follow this link. This is the blog for Eco-Congregation Scotland. Eco-Congregation is an ecumenical programme endorsed by Action of Churches Together in Scotland. Eco-Congregation Scotland is supported by the Church of Scotland, the Scottish Episcopal Church, the Methodist Church in Scotland and the United Reformed Church .

Care for creation is at the heart of the Eco-congregation movement. In the twenty first century climate change will change lives. Congregations have to be concerned about the impact this will have around the world and consider that steps they can take to respond.
